Bishop Anthony Banks was born in El Paso, Texas. His father was in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers; and thus, Banks was afforded the opportunity to live in various cities in the United States and Germany before the family settled in Decatur, Georgia. It was there He received Christ at a young age and began his spiritual journey.
Banks received his formal Armor Bearer training and start, while a member of World Changers Church International where he served as a Pastor’s Personal Aid to Pastor Creflo Dollar, Jr. He moved to Fort Myers, Florida in the summer of 1997.
Upon his arrival to Fort Myers, he served under Apostle Dr. William Glover at Mt. Hermon Ministries. While there he attended and taught at the Mt. Hermon Bible Institute, served as Glover’s Armor Bearer, received his Ministerial Licensure and Ordination, and served as an Assistant Pastor and Associate Pastor of Mt Hermon Ministries. Banks also served as the Campus Pastor and Lead Counselor, for Teen Challenge International of S.W. Florida. Set up, trained, and structured the current Armor Bearer ministry at the Mount Hermon Ministries, as well as restructured the entire Ministry of Helps, i.e., Greeters, Hospitality, Media, Transportation
Bishop Banks also served as Associate Pastor of St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church in Immokalee, Florida, in the service of Bishop Michael L. Kirk. Served as Senior Pastor of Changed For Life Outreach Intl., and has over 20 years’ experience with training, both in the areas of Leadership, Armor Bearer / Adjutant, and general Ministry of Helps; Greeters, Ushers, etc.,.
Banks currently serves as an Associate Pastor, and Director ofthe Christian Education Department, Men’s Ministry, and the Ministry of Helps. He is a man of God who takes his gifts and his calling seriously. He has a servant’s heart and is committed to outreach, evangelism, recovery, and training God’s people; He teaches the word of God with authority, clarity, and Holy Ghost boldness!
